etc…

Data Export – Payroll

3. Select Data Export – Payroll in the Select Report field.
4. Set the Filter Org. Levels to Include Inactive Org. Levels.
5. Set the Date Range to Custom Range.
6. Select the Start Date and Stop Date of the range you wish to run.
The size of your company and the amount of data in your system may limit your date ranges. For a smaller company, an entire year may be able to be extracted. A large company may need to extract the data quarterly or by month. Try starting with a yearly extraction and if the system times out with an error while generating the report, try running them semi-annually, then quarterly, and finally, monthly if necessary.
7. Move your “Company” to the left under the assigned Filters. If you have multiple companies built in your system, you can move them all to the left, or, export the data on each company individually. If you do not have access to this field, please reach out to our Technical Support Team and we will add that for you.
8. Move Other Dollars and Other Dollars over to join Punches under the Assigned Include Records of Type field.
9. Click Generate.

10. The system will generate an Excel file where you will be able to select where to save it.

11. Repeat the process by updating the selected date range until you have extracted all the needed data.

Please note: If you are successful running an export with one date range, quarterly for example, your next quarterly period may contain more data than the previous period and could cause an error. If that is the case, simply adjust your date ranges to pull for a shorter period.
