TimeStar Data Import
The TimeStar Data Import can be run manually if you need to bring new or updated TimeStar data into GTConnect right away. By default, the import runs automatically every four hours.
Running the import manually can be helpful if you’ve made changes in TimeStar that need to appear immediately on the time clocks.
Changes to the import or export agent settings may cause time clock downtime or missing punches. Please do not make any changes to these settings.
Run the TimeStar Data Import
- Select the Data Distribution menu.
- Click Direct Data.
- Select your Company on the Direct Data page.
- Navigate to the Import Control tab.
- Click Start Import to initiate the TimeStar Data Import.
Note: GTConnect will not allow the import to be run more than once every five minutes.
