Geofencing Update – Mobile Punch Behavior
With the introduction of Geofencing in TimeStar, mobile punches will now bypass any IP Address Restrictions configured at the Security Group or Employee Security level. IP Address Restrictions will continue to apply to web punches. To restrict mobile punches to specific locations, Geofencing must be configured.
